SBF’s lawyers have brought a technical expert into the mix to aid in modifying bail terms

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and his attorneys have agreed to pay for a security expert to assist the federal judge in navigating encryption technology and tentatively modify SBF’s bail terms. Christian Everdell and Mark Cohen, SBF’s attorneys, wrote to Judge Lewis Kaplan yesterday (Feb. 21), agreeing to engage a subject matter expert after Judge Kaplan suggested a bail hearing following SBF’s usage of a virtual private network (VPN) to access the internet.

Solana Spaces, a company that opened Solana-themed storefronts in New York to drive adoption of the Solana chain has decided to shutter its stores at the end of the month. Solana Spaces CEO, Vibhu Norby announced this in a tweet on Tuesday (Feb. 21), stating that they’ll be rebranding and focusing on NFTs and online experiences moving forward.

Meanwhile, the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) golf startup LinksDAO has announced that they’ll likely put in an offer to purchase a Scottish golf course. The golf course is worth just under a million dollars and would mark the DAO’s very first golf course purchase. LinksDAO established itself in January last year, having raised $10.5 million within the first 24 hours of the launch of its membership NFTs on OpenSea.
