Spotify dips its toes in web3

Spotify is making its debut into the cryptoverse as it tests a new service called "token-enabled playlists.” These playlists allow holders of non-fungible tokens (NFT) to listen to curated music by connecting to their web3 wallets. This service is now available to token holders in the Fluf, Moonbirds, Kingship and Overlord communities on an invite-only basis.

Meanwhile, Cathie Wood also remains bullish as she doubles down on Coinbase. Cathie Wood’s ARK has purchased more than $13 million in Coinbase shares (COIN) — nearly $4 million more than its previous COIN purchase earlier this month. While Coinbase beat its Q4 earnings expectations, COIN shares slid 1.43% after its earnings were announced on Tuesday (Feb. 21). COIN lost 86% its value in 2022 and then regained lost momentum since the start of 2023 as it began climbing steadily, alongside other crypto assets.

Kim Kardashian and Floyd Mayweather could still be on the hook for allegedly promoting EthereumMax (EMAX) without the required disclosure. Both celebrities are among other celebrities who are looking to convince a judge to dismiss a second complaint by EMAX investors. Kardashian had previously been fined for promoting EMAX on her social media.
