Claiming your QRDO:FAQs and Trouble-Shooting

Need some help with the QRDO claiming process or setting up your Qredo account?

We've divided your frequently asked questions and most common issues into three categories:

1. General set-up questions
2. Questions about CoinList
3. Questions about devices

We will be updating this page continuously. If you don't see what you need, please tell us and we'll get you an answer ASAP.

General set-up questions

Q.  I created an account on Qredo Network. Is that enough to receive my Qredo tokens?

Nearly! You will also need to create a QRDO Fund which is where you'll receive your tokens once they’re available for claiming. To do this, see Step E on the Claim Your QRDO Instructions Page.

Q. Can I have more than one Qredo account, each with a different email address?

Yes, you can. We only require that each Qredo account uses a unique email address and network alias.

Q. Is the Qredo phone app the crypto wallet that will hold my tokens?

No, your Qredo Tokens will be held in the QRDO fund and wallet you set up in the steps described here. This QRDO Fund and wallet can only be accessed via your desktop or laptop.

The Qredo mobile phone app — also known as the Qredo Signing App — is for ID verification and to authorize actions  (e.g. logging in or making a transaction) that are initiated on your desktop or laptop.

Q. I have been unable to receive emails from Qredo. Does this mean I can’t receive the airdrop?

Our emails are sometimes blocked by filters (and it’s always worth checking your spam folder to see if they are there).

But, even if you can’t receive our emails, the airdrop will still work for you if you have set up your Qredo account with the email address you were using with your CoinList account at the time of the token sale.

Q. My friend and I both bought Option 1 QRDO tokens. I have received an email with instructions on how to set up my Qredo account, but she hasn’t. Does that mean I will get my tokens before her?

No, when you receive the email with instructions does not change when you can claim your QRDO.

For both Option 1 and Option 2 token purchasers, we are sending out emails in different batches. This is for logistical reasons only and does not impact when — or how many — tokens are received.

BUT what can impact when you receive your QRDO is when you complete the signup process  for your Qredo account. This is because you can’t claim your QRDO until you have set up your Qredo account and the QRDO Fund that will receive and hold your new tokens.

Q. Your instructions for signing up to Qredo tell me to go to www.qredo.network/signin, not your main website www.qredo.com. Is this OK?

Yes, both websites belong to the Qredo Network.

Q. What happens if the vesting period has already started, and I haven’t registered with Qredo or set up my QRDO Fund?

Don't worry — You can still claim all of your allocated/purchased QRDO.

For what to expect if you register and create your QRDO Fund after the vesting period has started, see the example below:

Registering During Vesting Period

  • It has been 3 weeks since the cliff period has expired and the vesting period has started.

  • On each of the last three Thursdays you should have been receiving 100 QRDO, but you haven’t registered/created a Qredo Fund, which made claiming impossible.

  • It's now Friday, the day after the third Thursday, and you've just registered at Qredo and set up your QRDO Fund.

  • On the following Thursday, you will receive 400 QRDO (300 for the three weeks that you missed and 100 for the current vesting round).

  • From that point onward, you will continue to receive your QRDO regularly, on a weekly basis, in equal amounts.

Q. What happens if the vesting period is about to end, and I haven’t registered with Qredo or set up my QRDO Fund?

No problem! You can still claim all of your allocated/purchased QRDO. For what to expect if you register and create your QRDO Fund after the vesting period has started, see the example below:

Registering During Vesting Period

  • It has been 47 weeks (almost 12 months) the cliff period has expired and the next week is the last round of the vesting period.

  • On each of the last 47 Thursdays you should have been receiving 100 QRDO, but you haven’t registered/created a Qredo Fund, which made claiming those amounts impossible.

  • It's now Friday, the day after the 47th Thursday since the vesting period has started, and you've just registered at Qredo and set up your QRDO Fund.

  • On the following Thursday (the last vesting round), you will receive 4800 QRDO (4700 for the 47 weeks that you missed and 100 for the last vesting round).

  • The vesting ends and you receive all Qredo Tokens that you’re entitled to.

Questions about CoinList

Q. Do I need to set up my Qredo account using my CoinList email?

Yes, when setting up your Qredo Account, you need to register with the same email address you use for your CoinList account.

Q. Do I have to use the same name as on my CoinList account?

No, just the same email address you were using on CoinList when you took part in the Qredo token sale.

Q. Why can’t I claim my QRDO in my CoinList account?
Compared to a centralized crypto wallet or platform, your Qredo account is the most secure place to receive and hold your QRDO.

Distributing the tokens this way is also the fairest and most equitable approach because it ensures that anyone who purchased QRDO will access it in the same way as everyone else.

Q. I recently changed the email address I use for my CoinList account. Should I use this new email address to set up my Qredo account?

No, please set up your Qredo account and QRDO Fund with the email address you were using for your CoinList account at the time of the QRDO token sale (July 8th/9th, 2021).

Q. I set up a Qredo account in the past using an email address that is different to the one I use with my CoinList account. What should I do?

The easiest thing is to change the email address you use for your existing Qredo account to the one you use for CoinList. This will allow you to create the fund that will hold your QRDO using steps described here. After you claim your QRDO, you can then change the Qredo account email address back to the original — if you want.

IMPORTANT — Always protect your Qredo 24-word master seed. If you haven’t used your Qredo account for a while, please make sure your account security hasn’t been compromised before you use it to claim your QRDO.

Q. I have two CoinList accounts that participated in the QRDO Option 1 sale. Following your instructions, I have created two QRDO Funds to claim each Option 1 allocation. However, after receiving all my QRDO, I want to transfer tokens from the second QRDO Fund to the first, so I have everything in one place. Is this possible?

It’s possible to transfer your QRDO to one fund - but not in the way you suggest!

You can’t move your Qredo tokens from one QRDO Fund to another (or, indeed, between vesting wallets in a single QRDO Fund). This is because a QRDO Fund and its vesting wallet(s) are designed specifically to help you claim your QRDO and have limited functionality.

However, once you have claimed your QRDO, you can set up a new custom fund with its own QRDO wallet, and then transfer the tokens from your original QRDO Funds to this new fund. Please note that transferring your tokens from a QRDO Fund to a new fund in this way will incur a small automatic fee.

Q. Should I contact CoinList if I have problems receiving my QRDO Token?

No, if you need help setting up a Qredo account or claiming your QRDO, please contact our Support team by email ( [email protected]) with “My QRDO” as the subject line. Or, you can talk to us on Telegram or Twitter.

Questions about devices

Q. Can I still set up my Qredo account if my phone’s fingerprint or face recognition is broken?

Yes. For both iOS and Android devices, you can set up and access your Qredo account using the phone’s pin / passcode instead of biometrics. On Android devices, you can also use the pattern recognition function.

Depending on your phone, you may need to disable the biometrics setup before the pin/password or pattern recognition functions are available. Please check your phone’s documentation for details.

Q. I don't have a desktop or laptop and I do everything on my phone. Can I still set up a Qredo acccount to claim my QRDO?

No, unfortunately not. You need a desktop or laptop to open your Qredo account.

Q. If I delete the Qredo mobile app or change my phone after opening my Qredo account, can I still access Qredo on another phone?

Yes, you can, provided you still have your 24 word master seed and can access the email account you used to register.
