Today marks an exciting milestone in our journey towards greater decentralization as we announce the launch of a Community Governance Voting feature that will empower our community to vote on Qredo protocol improvement proposals (QPIPs) using QRDO tokens. These votes will shape the future of the Qredo network.
The first step in the launch of Qredo Community Governance Voting is an essential registration period. We ask all QRDO token holders to register in the official voting space and familiarize themselves with the new functionality to ensure that the voting process proceeds seamlessly. All QRDO token holders that wish to vote on a QPIP must register prior to the vote.
Below you will find a quick overview of the registration process.
Step 1: Navigate to your Qredo Workspace and go to the Qredo Station
Step 2: Nominate one of your Web3 wallets as your voting wallet.
Step 3: Check your voting power, which correlates directly with the amount of QRDO you hold in your Qredo Vaults. For further clarification on how voting power is calculated, please check out our Community Governance Guidelines.
Step 4: Connect to Snapshot.org using the nominated Web3 voting wallet. This is where you will cast your votes on proposals.

As part of Community Governance Voting roll-out, we have two key votes coming up:
Governance Guidelines Vote (QPIP-0) will be our inaugural vote, focusing on Qredo's governance guidelines. This is an opportunity for community members to weigh in on how our collective decision-making process should be structured. It's our first concrete step toward a truly democratic and decentralized network and will also serve as a test for the voting functionality and process.
QPIP-0 Registration Period: August 3rd to August 8th, 2023
QPIP-0 Voting Period: August 9th to August 11th, 2023
QRDO Tokenology Vote (QPIP-1) will be our second vote, focusing on the utility and mechanics of QRDO within the Qredo network. QPIP-1 will take into account insightful feedback from active discussions on the Governance Forum around the recently published QRDO Tokenology. If approved, QPIP-1 will be a critical step toward shaping and implementing a new economic model for the Qredo network.
