How to Buy QRDO

Taking your first steps to buying cryptocurrency can be daunting — but it doesn’t have to be. This explainer post unpacks how to buy QRDO and then transfer it to your Qredo Wallet for staking rewards.

Early-stage cryptocurrencies and blockchains are run on their tokens, the tradable assets such as Ethereum for the Ether network or XRP on Ripple which serve as an economic incentive for transaction verification and a means of exchange for participants.

These tokens form the backbone of the crypto world and have inspired countless spinoffs and imitations.

As the first decentralized custody solution for crypto, Qredo also operates using its own native token - QRDO.

But what is QRDO and how can you buy QRDO tokens?

Here is everything you need to know about buying QRDO and how to store tokens on the Qredo Network.

How does QRDO work?

QRDO is a token built with both utility and governance in mind and is designed to offer all stakeholders in the network the economic incentive to transact, store and stake assets within the ecosystem.

Unlike standard tokens built on Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure, QRDO is optimized for a Layer 2 solution and offers rewards and incentives for all network participants, as opposed to just network validators.

The Qredo network is secured using a unique implementation of decentralized Multi-Party Computation (dMPC).

By welding together the typical features of utility and governance tokens into a single entity, QRDO facilitates a more user-centric model that helps reward activity across the network.

How can I buy QRDO?

QRDO can be purchased on both centralized and decentralized exchanges and by using Bitcoin, Ethereum or USDT.

The growing number of exchanges that list QRDO include:
