Nicknamed "the Mother of Blockchains" for balancing a passionately pro crypto stance with family life as a mother of five children, Joshua Ashley Klayman is one of the most prominent American blockchain lawyers.
Klayman started out as an attorney in 2006. Then, after joining Morrison & Foerster as an associate in 2013, she began to build out her legal niche in smart contracts. Since then, she has gained extensive industry experience, founding her own blockchain-focused boutique law firm, Klayman LLC, before joining Linklaters to serve as head of fintech and blockchain and digital assets practice group.
Elsewhere, she also chairs the prominent Wall Street Blockchain Alliance (WSBA) Legal Working Group, promoting legal thought leadership on blockchain at the heart of traditional finance.
